Lipstick of the Month ft- Too Faced Melted Chihuahua

Hey!!
So the name sounds a bit creepy, right? lol
Well I obviously got passed it since I purchased it and wear it non-stop!! I'm in love, I do love the Melted range they have soooo many beautiful colors to choose from. With that being said Melted Chihuahua is on the darker side of nudes, almost like *mumbles* the Kylie Jenner lip color (if you have fair skin). In pictures you ll notice on me its a mid toned brown-ish pink, the perfect nude shade for my skin tone for reference I'm NC43 to NC45 (summer) in MAC
I like to throw this on daily, I would've got a back up ):

Melted Chihuahua shows up darker swatched on my hand than it actually looks on my lips

I am wearing a lip liner underneath Melted Chihuahua
No lip liner
(excuse my flaky nose it was healing)

**Nose ring update: I took it out, I had terrible scarring this time which resulted in a keloid!! I'm super bummed.**

Pros:
light weight
long lasting
no strong scent
will last through food/drink with minor touch ups
affordable ($21)
can be worn on every skin tone

Cons:
can get a bit drying (its matte so that's to be expected)

Like I said previously this is definitely my go-to lip color, I throw it on whenever i don't want to fuss with anything or when I'm being lazy lol which is 6/7 days a week! Sad, I know.

Thanks for stopping by!!

GLOSSYBOX (April) Review

Hello Loves!

I'm not sure where to start with this months box? Ive had a love/hate relationship with GB for some months now *sigh* do to the fact they haven't been as on point as they usually are. Ive honestly been thinking about canceling my subscription, the only reason I haven't is because as soon as I do BAM some super awesome item will happen in that box! I don't want to give up just yet maybe ill push on til July. I will say Iwasn't so disappointed in this months box, I suppose it made up for the last one which was awful! I can honestly say I haven't liked a box since.......*clock ticks in the background* who knows when?
The thing is why ask your customers to fill out a beauty profile then completely ignore it? I know the idea of the box is to try new things, that's fine but If i say I don't like floral perfumes, I don't have color treated hair, I want more makeup in my box shouldn't i get that? Even when they ask "what colors do you prefer?" I choose darker shades and end up with some shades i cant wear because they're meant for much lighter skin or some irrelevant ass color nobody would actually wear. I don't know maybe I'm being picky but I pay money for a service that I feel isn't being met, not even after evaluations.
*sigh*
I like the service for the most part I just wish they would take that in to consideration.

(IM NOT PAID TO WRITE THIS I BOUGHT MY OWN SUBSCRIPTION)

ANYWAY...........
 How cute is the box!!!?
I wish they would do something like this more often not just for one-off boxes or collabs, maybe not this "fancy" but a pattern would be nice not just the boring pink. (I know its their signature color)

1) MARRAKESH ENDZ-Split end mender $5.99-17.99
I haven't tried it yet, I'm not big into hair products yet they keep giving them to me however if you are you can check them out HERE
2)AERIN Waterlily Sun fragrance $110 (Full Size)
I'm not big on floral scents and getting perfume in my box so I gave it away to my sister who is absolutely in love with it.
Get yours HERE
3) OCC Stained Glass $18 (full size) in Jealous
I didn't like the color (on me), very light weight, thin, comfortable, stained nicely.
You can find OCC at Sephora and OOC's website.
4)ESTEE LAUDER Enlighten Dark Spot Correcting Night Serum $62 (full size)
I'm excited to try this out, I will update you on how I like it.
Get yours HERE
If you order on their website use this code GLOSSY0515 for %15 off until 6/15/15
5)JULEP Gel Eye Glider $16 (full size)
I received shade Smoky Plum which is a really nice deep purple. (obviously lol) Its very creamy and pretty long lasting.
Get yours HERE
This months box also came with a small makeup bag from ThursdayFriday collab with Glossy box and inside was an awesome discount card inside.

Overall I didn't hate this months box as much as previous boxes, I think what made me the most excited was the art itself to be honest. I really like the detail.
My favorite items are the makeup bag, I'll be getting some use out of that on trips, OCC Stained Gloss it was very comfortable on the lips most importantly it wasn't sticky!

7/10

Thanks for reading

The Ripped Knee Jean

Why is it so hard to find jeans that fit properly when you're not 6 feet tall and thin? Its like they just say "the hell with it just throw some random a** measurements out there, they're fat so they'll settle!" Well we shouldn't have to settle, we should have great fitting jeans just like anyone else without someone saying "if you lose weight they'll fit better" maybe we don't want to?! After I lose weight will I magically get taller too? Like? Are you serious?!
There are many faults with plus size clothing as most of us know......like being short! NEWS FLASH we aren't all tall I stand about 5'2" and finding jeans that are decent is an absolute nightmare! Then there's the ankle width issue which i feel is ALWAYS overlooked when making plus size skinny jeans. My ankles are really thin for my size so P.S.S.J (plus size skinny jeans) end up looking like straight leg jeans or even wide leg jeans. Lastly for me anyway is the selection of styles, we don't get the wide range of color, pattern and the ripped look like "regular"sized jeans do, if we do they cost an arm and a leg and they're harder to find.
With all that being said I cant say I found the perfect skinny jean for me HOWEVER I came pretty close I wish they had more styles but I know Old Navy has been working on bringing out more for us full figured ladies out here.

Camo Jacket:Thrifted
Striped 3/4 Sleeve: H&M here
Skinnies: Old Navy (they dont have this style anymore)
Converse
Lippies: MAC Ruby Woo
 Size: 16/Short
Super soft
very comfortable
not skinny enough at the ankle (for me)

I will say Old Navy has come such a long way although they have a ways to go yet but I appreciate the effort they're putting in to help plus size/curvy women feel even better in a pair of jeans.

These aren't the skinniest, as you can see i still have a bunch of room however this has been the best fit I've had in a long time without wearing jeggings. I don't get bunching at the bottom (which I don't mind most of the time), they have a bit of stretch with just enough give, the length is perfect for my height. The downside is they do stretch out a bit during the day and I'm still too short for the rips near my knees lol

The reason I love denim is because theres so much freedom in how you choose to style it, it's so versatile.

One day I hope to find the perfect skinny jean and If you haven't I wish you luck on your search.
xoxo
