October Highlights

1) Our day trip to Chicago went 75% unplanned which was fine because we don't live far away. I didn't do any shopping sadly but I did get to explore a bit more since I haven't been in the city for years!
2) MARS Cheese Castle Ive lived in Wisconsin my whole life yet this was the first time I've been there and i must say i was somewhat disappointed however the food there is amazing.
3) Happy Birthday Elise!
4) I love them to the moon and back <3
5) This month i also got to carve my first pumpkin!!! I did pretty good, right?
6) GO PACK GO we're 6-0!!! #ClayMate #52
7) The Bucks home opener was this past Wednesday it was very exciting, flashy and fun even though we lost.
8) Might Meal? This was very nostalgic for me because when i was young my grandma would pick me up from school every wednesday and we'd both get a "Happy Meal" then go shopping. I miss those days with her, I'd do anything to have them back. #RIH
9) 10/25/15 'The Baptism' the day I completely opened up my heart and life to God, time really exciting to be on this new journey in my life! (:

Milwaukee Public Market

Wisconsin has so much to offer during the warmer months and its so sad that we're so underrated! We have thousands of lakes, yes more than Minnesota! Tons of amazing wooded areas, camp grounds, festivals, speaking of which we're home to the largest musical festival in the world SUMMERFEST and much more.

Today however I'm showing you a favorite spot of mine in my home town of Milwaukee or how we say "M'waukee" lol

The Milwaukee Public Market is the MOST amazing place to eat, drink, shop and make friends, there are so many places to choose from. You can have an authentic taste of Mexico, Morocco, Japan and much more....  The pickiest eater can find anything to eat here that's how diverse the market is. Everything is fresh from seafood to local fruits and veggies, gluten free options are also at your fingertips which is great for those of that are gluten intolerant. Price is also an important factor right? Well I'm here to tell you that you won't be disappointed, yes some things might be a bit much but there's a price point for everyone. I really wish i could've got more pictures but it was extremely busy because of Summerfest/ Fireworks on the 3rd.

If you decide to try anything while you're there go to C. Adams Bakery then proceed to purchase the carrot cake because its AMAZING!

Grab a glass whine when you visit this stand (:

There's MKE pride everywhere, I love it!

Volcano Chicken from Thai-Namite
-Jasmin rice
-plum sauce
-cabbage
-carrots
I had so much left over after I shared with friends, you get what you pay for.
They also have a fresh sushi bar with so many options to choose from and everyone is so nice. The hot food is prepared to order so its extremely fresh and worth the wait.

This was the carrot cake I told you about omg please if you can try it get your hands on it! $5 for a three layer mini cake of heaven might sound like a bit much to people but its so worth it!

Memorial Weekend......2015

For the last few years Ive been going up north to the Dells with some friends/extended "family" for Memorial weekend to camp and celebrate. This year was great minus to rain on Sunday but thankfully it didn't rain too long.

If you don't know Wisconsin Dells is home to the largest water park in the U.S. if you haven't been you should get out here and take in all the sites. If you want the best experience come during the warmer months (June-Sept) theres tons to do. Going up north is something most families do here in Wisco all year around, we grow up doing this yearly. People come from all over to visit the water parks because they're so fun! I suggest you go to the Kalahari its the BEST hotel/water park we have IMO, also visit Noah's Ark!

I planned on vlogging but I got caught up in the weekend I kind of forgot then just decided not to later on but I managed to get some decent pictures, I guess lol

Bag; Target (it comes in brown)
Pants: Target (sale)
Shirt: Brewers
We were loading up the truck getting ready to head out! You see my camera in my purse, so much for that. I pack light....this is camping after all.

Lunch break in Lake Delton (:
Subway isn't my first choice ever, its not fresh despite the claims I'm not sure who they're trying to fool?

Hello Holiday Shores!!!
How beautiful is the Wisconsin River!!!?! Now to unpack and settle in, I totally forgot to get a shot of our campsite but we took up 6 sites, we looked like some shanty town lol
The campgrounds are really cool but we didn't go through it as planned so I didn't get pics this year.

This picture doesn't do the sunset justice, it was so gorgeous!

soooo beautiful.

We were going to rent a pontoon but things didn't go the way thought ):

We tried a facebook recipe, turned out really good actually!

Marshmallow Fluff+strawberry roast on open flame, enjoy!

I love classic cars and this was a treat to see considering I missed Automotion the weekend before.

We go every year (:

I'm going to say this is the BEST pizza place in Wisconsin, try it!
(It was too good to snap a pic)

Trying to stay healthy after eating brats, ribs and burgers all weekend.

Its mandatory to have a swig with Nig.

we thought this was a bit sketchy

Best breakfast in the Dells

Happy Memorial Day
Getting ready to leave but first Ry-Ry and Natalie stopped to dig for "dino bones"

A snack for the ride home!

I had an amazing weekend I hope yours was just as great or better (:

Week In Photos #3

1) Breakfast!! Ive been on The Whole30 diet plan on and off for a few months now, we all know how hard it is to stay on a plan. Like an idiot I started during the holiday season (thanksgiving) and was doing very well I even lost 20 lbs then put about 10 lbs back on by the end of Jan so I'm back at it however I need to get back on this hardcore.
2) I went to see Jimmy Santiago Baca speak at my college for our class assignment this past Thursday and I'm actually glad I did because he was great! He previewed his new book and movie for "A Place to Stand" which I'm currently reading, its really good do check it out! Whats in my cup? Iced Green Tea unsweetened (;
3)Red nails? On me? R-A-R-E. I'm partial to darker shades of red when it comes to my nails so you could only imagine this was jarring for me to see but I thought I'd step into the light since it was starting to warm up a bit....surprise surprise i hated it the ONLY reason i bought it was because it was on sail for 82 cents!
Nail color by Maybelline in "Keep The Flame" (what you cant see are the red glittery tips for some reason my cam didn't pick that up)
4) I went to the sports show (boats, guns, fishing and camo stuff) at State Fair (our local fair grounds) with a friend over the weekend this was all i bought, Candied cashews....yum!
5) Be Happy & Positive.....that's all I really want.
6) A couple of friends and I went out for FroYo after class can you say Y-U-M?! I chose salted caramel pretzel topped with granola, berries and a few brownie bites!! *drools* (no, that other one isn't mine)
7)GHEE (clarified butter) I don't eat fried foods much these days or much of anything "unhealthy" so this was kind of hard to adjust to.
8) Every time i go grocery shopping i find a cute little stem of broccoli and name him, i don't know why but i do....it makes me happy!
9)SEROOGYS Meltaways, now I'm not one for chocolate but when you live in Wisconsin its a must you get Seroogys every now and then! If you haven't tried it do it, now! Its soooo light, airy and not too intense.  Buy Yours Here

DISCO PLAID

I never intended on posting about my outfit today, I originally planned on making a run to Ulta then going back home however I started doing my makeup and thought to myself "why not go out and shoot its nice out" (it might not look "nice" but it was 68 degrees and WI that's a major heatwave) so I text my friend and asked if she'd helped me shoot!
