This wasn't supposed to be a thing, none of this was supposed to happen....I planned (planning hardly ever works for me) on doing a holiday shoot wearing a dress however it wasn't natural for my personal style plus i hated the way it looked on me so i canned it and here we are. I went through several looks because i wasn't feeling myself that particular day which is normal we all have bad days right? Mine has been lasting for some time now but it'll pass soon hopefully.

The entire summer I've been dying to get to this warehouse to shoot my longline plaid tank only to have it cut short by some creep rolling around. My photographer had to babysit Louie so he took some pics with me and for his parents as a Christmas gift, how sweet right?

October Highlights

1) Our day trip to Chicago went 75% unplanned which was fine because we don't live far away. I didn't do any shopping sadly but I did get to explore a bit more since I haven't been in the city for years! 

2) MARS Cheese Castle Ive lived in Wisconsin my whole life yet this was the first time I've been there and i must say i was somewhat disappointed however the food there is amazing.

3) Happy Birthday Elise!

4) I love them to the moon and back <3

5) This month i also got to carve my first pumpkin!!! I did pretty good, right?

7) The Bucks home opener was this past Wednesday it was very exciting, flashy and fun even though we lost.

8) Might Meal? This was very nostalgic for me because when i was young my grandma would pick me up from school every wednesday and we'd both get a "Happy Meal" then go shopping. I miss those days with her, I'd do anything to have them back. #RIH 

9) 10/25/15 'The Baptism' the day I completely opened up my heart and life to God, time really exciting to be on this new journey in my life! (:

Take A Walk With Me......

I'm obsessed with stripes! 

Recently that's all Ive been wearing, no joke go in my closet and you'll get slapped in the face with an ass load of stripes upon entry. I'm in love. Stripes are so easy to style which is great because I don't like to try too hard when I have to get dressed. Simple, easy, relaxed, casual and effortless are words I'd use to describe how I dress! 

My favorite way to style stripes are usually with a classic red lip or floral prints, in my opinion they go with nearly everything.

Milwaukee Public Market

Wisconsin has so much to offer during the warmer months and its so sad that we're so underrated! We have thousands of lakes, yes more than Minnesota! Tons of amazing wooded areas, camp grounds, festivals, speaking of which we're home to the largest musical festival in the world SUMMERFEST and much more. 

Today however I'm showing you a favorite spot of mine in my home town of Milwaukee or how we say "M'waukee" lol 

The Milwaukee Public Market is the MOST amazing place to eat, drink, shop and make friends, there are so many places to choose from. You can have an authentic taste of Mexico, Morocco, Japan and much more....  The pickiest eater can find anything to eat here that's how diverse the market is. Everything is fresh from seafood to local fruits and veggies, gluten free options are also at your fingertips which is great for those of that are gluten intolerant. Price is also an important factor right? Well I'm here to tell you that you won't be disappointed, yes some things might be a bit much but there's a price point for everyone. I really wish i could've got more pictures but it was extremely busy because of Summerfest/ Fireworks on the 3rd.

If you decide to try anything while you're there go to C. Adams Bakery then proceed to purchase the carrot cake because its AMAZING!

I had so much left over after I shared with friends, you get what you pay for.

They also have a fresh sushi bar with so many options to choose from and everyone is so nice. The hot food is prepared to order so its extremely fresh and worth the wait.

The Shirt Dress

I FINALLY found the perfect t-shirt dress (for me anyway) that I bought it in navy blue/cream!!

I'm in love and the best part they're AFFORDABLE, do you hear me Urban Outfitters?! At a whopping $9.99 a piece at H&M they are just as good or better than one that might cost you $40. Its soft, breathable, comfortable and they don't stretch out in weird ways but most importantly they have sizes for everyone, so go get you soooome! 

I'm currently reading East of Eden, pick it up its a great read.
